Millennium Spire Limited launches Spire World

Mumbai, Aug 28 (UNI) Millennium Spire Ltd, an ''Alternative Strategies'' fund under the UK-based Millennium Global umbrella, focused on private equity investments in real estate in India, today unveiled its maiden platform for developments in the Indian market 'Spire World' a philosophy, a platform that will drive development of Mainstream Green projects of Millennium Spire in India.

The unveiling of Spire World also marked the launch of MSL's first 'Mainstream Green' Project in India 'Spire Edge' a sprawling 1.6 million sq ft of scalable eco-office complex with an energy saving capacity of upto 30 per cent, company said in a release here.

Spire Edge is 50:50 joint venture between Millennium Spire and A N Buildwell, a company with over 25 years of experience in development of real estate in the National Capital Region and Malaysia. Spire Edge will be located in the emerging IT hotspot - IMT Manesar, just off the Delhi-Jaipur highway.

Dubbed as the most significant epoch in the real estate real of India, Spire Edge will be the first ever green building for commercial use in Manesar, being developed with an investment of Rs 400 crore. The main block of Spire Edge will be an iconic 300 ft tall deep garden building that shall house cutting edge office space and adorn the skyline of Manesar.

Catering to the IT/ITES service industry and the burgeoning requirement for quality real estate options in the IT hub of Manesar, Spire Edge would be a complete package in itself for the discerning customers and potential investors. A perfect illustration of amicable design, infrastructure and economic viability, Spire Edge would be a harbinger in the main stream green building commercial projects of the country and particularly in the IT space of Manesar.

Millennium Spire intends to invest over USD 400 million to USD 800 million in India over the next 12-18 months.
