Message warns MP CM of blast, suicide squads

Mandsaur, MP, Aug 28 (UNI) A message was today faxed from this district to Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan's residence in Bhopal warning that his 'Janashirwad Yatra' would be targeted by a blast and suicide squads.

''This district's Bhanpura town-resident Prakashchand Arora (58) was arrested in this connection. He sent two faxes -- at 0942 and 1007 hrs. The accused addressed the Chief Minister's wife Sadhna Singh as Gurumata,'' Superintendent of Police D P Gupta told UNI here.

The message said that the Yatra, which got underway at Ujjain today, should be halted forthwith or it would be targeted by a blast triggered by remote. It spoke of suicide squads stationed on the Ujjain-Neemuch route. Arora runs a tiffin centre, is said to be mentally unsound and is being medically examined here.
