Inflation dips to 12.40%

New Delhi, Aug 28 (UNI) The headline inflation rate for the week ended August 16 declined to 12.40 per cent against 12.63 per cent during the previous week.

According to the official data released by the Commerce and Industry Ministry here today, the group 'Fuel, Power and Lubricants' decreased by 1.1 per cent, home prices up by three per cent, manufactured products by 0.1 per cent, while 'Primary Article' group remained unchanged.
