IECD signs MoUs with Edu institutions for career courses

Tiruchirapalli, Aug 28 (UNI) The Institute for Entrepreneurship and Career Development, (IECD), Bharathidasan University, has signed MoUs with e-Castle Academy, Saastha Institute of Engineering and Technology (SIET), and Nineteen Hour IT Private Limited (NHIT), here to create employment opportunities for school dropouts and youths.

According to a university press release here today, the Memorandum of understanding with e-Castle Academy was meant for tapping the huge job opportunities in Animation and Multimedia Industry. The Academy, actively involved in training and placement, offers IT-related Diploma in Visual Effects, Post Graduate Diploma in Animation, Post Graduate Diploma in Multimedia, and Post Graduate Diploma in Web Development Courses.

Candidates with a pass in 10th are admitted for Diploma courses and those with graduation taken for Post Graduate Diploma courses. Bank loans will be arranged for aspiring students. The courses will be conducted in the premises of e-Castle Academy here, the release added.

The Saastha Institute of Engineering and Technology, a division of Sasthaa Educational and Charitable Trust, in association with IECD will offer Certificate courses in Earth Moving and Heavy Machinery, Diploma in Earth Moving and Heavy Machineries, Diploma in Shipping Management and Certificate course in Advanced Hitech Welding Technology through off-campus mode for candidates with a Pass in tenth standard. For the Certificate courses in Earth Moving and Heavy Machinery, a pass in eighth standard was the minimum requirement, it added.

Nineteen Hour IT Private Limited, a U K headquartered multinational company will partner with IECD to offer Diploma in BPO Management, Diploma in Medical Coding and Transcription, Diploma in Animation, Diploma in J2ME and Certificate courses in Business English for candidates with a pass in Plus Two, the release added.
