ICAI workshop on IFRS at Baroda from tomorrow

New Delhi, Aug 28 (UNI) A two-day workshop on International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) will be held from tomorrow at Baroda, Gujarat to give an overview of its application in the Indian scenario.

The workshop, being organised by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), will focus more on concepts that are relatively new under Indian GAAP and on topics which can potentially impact the net worth and profit or loss under more common situations.

Renowned experts having in-depth knowledge of IFRS will address the workshop. A special session has been dedicated to sharing implementation experiences by various consultants and users both large and small.

ICAI will next organise a two-day national conference on IFRS in New Delhi on September 5-6.
