Forester dies while participating in training

Palakkad, Aug 28 (UNI) A forester collapsed and died while participating in a training session here today.

The deceased was identified as T K Rajan (48), hailing from Kuttiyadi in Kozhikode district, sources said.

However, the union leaders claimed that Rajan had requested higher authorities to exempt him from training as he was not feeling well, but it was turned down.

Rajan was working with the Kottiyoor Divison of the forest range office, in Kannur district, the sources added.
