Eight militants nabbed in Manipur

Imphal, Aug 28 (UNI) The Imphal police nabbed eight militants of different underground organisations during the past 24 hours.

SSP (Imphal West) L Kailun said a People's Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak (PREPAK-GS) cadre and Kangleipak Communist Party KCP(MC) cadre were apprehended yesterday.

SP (Imphal East) Th Radheshyam Singh said three members of the Kuki Liberation Army (KLA) and a cadre of People's Liberation Army PLA were nabbed yesterday.

One US-made 9 mm pistol with nine rounds and a magazine were seized from their possession.

SP (Thoubal) Clay Khongsai said a cadre of United National Liberation Front (UNLF) and a cadre of Kangleipak Communist Party (KCP) were also nabbed yesterday.
