Advani slams trust vote bribery
Ujjain, MP, Aug 28 (UNI) Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha L K Advani today said that in his entire political life, since 1951, he never witnessed anything as abysmal as the recent Lok Sabha trust vote bribery.
''Since independence, the country witnessed many scams such as Bofors in which key people in government were involved. The entire Manmohan Singh regime is involved in the bribery. Parliamentarians who have no hope of ever winning another general election were bribed,'' he said while addressing a public meeting here.
Speaking on the occasion, former Bharatiya Janata Party president M Venkaiah Naidu pointed out that the Congress was yet to field names for the future Prime Minister and Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister.
Mr Advani and Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan inaugurated the Shri Mahakaleshwar Vedic Training and Research Institute.
