Accused of TADA case awarded 5 years imprisonment
Porbandar, Aug 28 (UNI) A Fast Track Court here has sentenced Rama Nebha, a convict of TADA case for possessing illegal arms, to five years imprisonment.
Pronouncing the verdict yesterday, Fast Track Court Judge B M Mahida also slapped a fine of Rs 15,000 on the convict.
According to prosecution, Nebha was arrested by the police in March 1994, when they had conducted a raid at his house in Porbandar and recovered a foreign pistol, 38 live cartridges and a home-made pistol.
Rama Nebha is elder brother of Keshu Nebha, who was allegedly murdered by Kandhal and Kana Jadeja, sons of godmother Santokben Jadeja in March 2005.
