Soren prioritises development on agenda

Ranchi, Aug 27 (UNI) New Jharkhand Chief Minister Shibu Soern today said he would prioritise NREGA schemes, better roads and smooth public distribution system in his agenda.

Mr Soren, immediately after swearing-in, held a cabinet meeting in the presence of his cabinet ministers.

Later, Mr Soren said he would go for trial on strength on August 29.

He said he would carry on the unfinished developmental projects and give maximum stress on infrastructure development.

The new chief minister also sounded warning to the officers saying he would monitor functioning of each department and any government employee found irresponsible would be dealth with strongly.
