Puri jail employee on fast unto death

Puri, Aug 27 (UNI) Eight jail employees of the district jail on a fast-unto-death agitation since August 25 were hospitalised today as their health condition deteriorated.

Official sources said three of them had to be shifted to the SCB Medical College and hospital at Cuttack as their condition was stated to be critical.

About 30 jail employees along with their families were on the dharana at the district jail gate in response to the call of the state association in support of their long standing demands.
