MP to implement 6th Pay Commn recommendations
Khandwa, MP, Aug 27 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today announced that the state government would soon implement the Sixth Pay Commission's recommendations for its employees.
''The decision will directly benefit more than five lakh employees and lead to a roughly 30 per cent hike in salaries,'' he said while addressing a tribal convention in this tribal-dominated district's Khalwa where he inaugurated a tenduleaf bonus distribution programme. A sum of Rs 1,65,70,000 would be distributed among 21,852 tendu leaf gatherers in this district.
Forests and Tribal Welfare Minister Vijay Shah presided over the programme also attended by Khandwa MP Nandkumar Singh Chouhan.
