Modern Mill owners protest rice seizure

Puducherry,Aug 27(UNI) The Modern Rice Mill owners today refrained from procuring rice from the Cooperative Regulatory Market.

They staged a demonstration in front of the Thattanchavady Regulatory Market.

The agitators protested the seizure of double-boiled rice sent to Kerala from Puducherry by the Kallakuruchi Tazildar certifying it as Tamil Nadu ration-rice.
