MCCI ultra gunned down in Lohardega
Lohardega, Aug 27 (UNI) An ultra of proscribed Maoist Communist Centre of India (MCCI) was killed in an encounter with police at Khukra village under Bhandra police station area in the district.
Police today said about six ultras exchanged fire with the police late last night in which one of them was killed on the spot while others managed to escape.
The deceased, identified as Atwa Oraon was wanted in about six cases including murder and extortion.
Police recovered two carbines, 150 live cartridges and a cane bomb from the spot.
