Land records of 19,739 villages computarised
Shimla, Aug 27 (UNI) The Land records of 19,739 villages have been computarised in Himachal Pradesh.
In the meeting of Revenue Officers here today, HP Revenue Minister Gulab Singh Thakur said that the data entry of land records had been completed in 95 per cent of the villages out of a total of 20,681 villages.
Mr Singh said that Record of Rights (ROR) had been made available online in 93 per cent villages and were being distributed in 45 Tehsils and Sub Tehsils.
He said that Rs 1029.60 lakh were spent on completion of data entry and establishment of computer centres at Tehsil, Sub Tehsil and Sub Division offices in the State.
He said that all Deputy Commissioners offices, 30 SDM offices and 61 Tehsil offices had been connected with HIMSWAN and connectivity work in the remaining offices was in progress.
