Kerala Govt anguished over Orissa incidents
Thiruvananthapuram, Aug 27 (UNI) The Kerala Government today expressed its anguish over the recent attacks against the nuns and Christian Minorities in Orissa, allegedly by the Vishwa Hindu Parisad and other Sangh Parivar organisations.
Briefing the reporters after a Cabinet meeting here, Kerala Chief Minister V S Achuthanandan said the Cabinet expressed its anguish over widespread attacks against the minority communities in Orissa.
He said the Kerala Government would convey its anguish to the Orissa Government and also the Centre.
It would also urge the Orissa Government to ensure the safety of the people in the state.
