Kashmir valley gets essential commodiities
New Delhi, Aug 27 (UNI) As many as 365 carriers laden with essential commodities and fuel arrived in the Kashmir Valley during the last 24 hours, an official spokesman said here today.
These included 62 laden with rice, 35 with flour, 19 with sheep, 4 with fresh fruit and 170 with other commodities.
Besides, 28 tankers with diesel, 10 with kerosene oil, 11 with petrol, 24 with LPG and 2 empty trucks also reached the valley during the period.
Moreover, 205 trucks and tankers left the Valley for different destinations in the country during the past 24 hours. These include 83 trucks loaded with fruits and vegetables, 9 with other commodities and 113 empty tankers left the Valley after off-loading the fuel.
