HP receives moderate rain

Shimla, Aug 27 (UNI) Many parts of Himachal Pradesh today experienced light to moderate rainfall.

According to Met office, Nahan recorded a maximum rainfall of 40.4 mm, followed by Dharmashala 32.8 mm, Sudernagar 17.8 mm, Solan 4.4 mm and Shimla 0.9 mm.

The minimum and maximum temperatures in Shimla were recorded at 17 and 23.3 degrees Celsius respectively, Sundernagar 19.1 and 32.9 degrees Kalpa 11.2 and 23.5, Dharamshala 18.1 and 26.2, Mandi 20.5 and 32.4 and Solan 21.6 and 29.5 and Una 21.9 and 34.6 degrees Celsius.

The Met office has forecast rain and thundershowers in isolated places for next 24 hrs.
