Groundnutseed steady; RBD Palmolein declines

Mumbai, Aug 27 (UNI) Price of groundnutseed remained steady today on moderate demand, while RBD palmolein declined on lack of fresh demand from stockists, traders at the Bombay Commodity Exchange said.

In oils (10 kg), Refined palmolein and sunflower exp fell by Rs 11 and Rs 10 per ten kg respectively, on low buying support from bulk consumers.

Soyabean ref and linseed also declined by Rs three and Rs five per 10 kg respectively, on sluggish demand from stockists. However, castor comm improved by Rs two per 10 kg on improved demand, traders said.

Among seeds (per quintal), nigerseed and castorseed Bombay moved up by Rs five and Rs 10 per quintal respectively, on renewed buying support from dealers. Castorseed Disa and Hyderabad also rallied by Rs 30 and Rs 50 per quintal respectively, amid brisk buying support by bulk consumers.

All de-oiled cakes remained flat on scattered buying support from stockist, traders added.
