Four get three-year rigorous imprisonment in antique case
Patna, Aug 27 (UNI) A special CBI court here today handed down three year rigorous imprisonment to four people, including two siblings, in a theft case of antique idols from Patna museum.
Designated special CBI judicial magistrate Sarvajeet found Miraj Barsi and Rasheed Barsi(siblings) and Umesh Sao and Vinod Yadav guilty under various sections of Indian Penal Code.
The court also slapped a fine of Rs 1000 each on--Umesh and Vinod.
Eighteen antique idols were stolen from Patna museum on September 24, 2006.
CBI had recovered all the idols from different places.
