Dev works in E Delhi improved life standard of residents: Sheila
New Delhi, Aug 27 (UNI) Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit today said completion of large number of developmental works in East Delhi has resulted in improvement in standard of life of the residents of the area.
Speaking after inaugurating a newly constructed chaupal at Old Seelampur (East) and laying a foundation stone of a car Parking at Old Seelampur Village, Ms Dikshit said hosting of the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi and construction of Games Village in East Delhi would enhance prestige of the Trans Yamuna Area, which is bound to get benefited with large-scale infrastructural development.
Present during the inauguration of the projects, funds for which have been provided by the Trans Yamuna Area Development Board, were Education Minister and Local MLA Arvinder Singh and Chairman Trans Yamuna Area Development Board Dr Nareder Nath.
