Danfoss India completes 10 yrs
Chennai, Aug 27 (UNI) Danfoss India, a leader in mechanical and electronic components and solutions, today successfully completed one decade of its Indian operations and said its thrust to develop energy efficient solutions for customers would continue.
Danfoss is a leading provider of motion control systems to the core sector industries like infrastructure, foods and beverages, textiles and plastics and process industries like sugar, steel, cement, mining and resources.
Coinciding with the celebration of ten years in India, Danfoss Drives business completes 40 years globally while Danfoss Corporate celebrates 75 years in business.
"We acknowledge the value of strong relationship we share with our customers as we commemorate a decade of operations in a globally significant economy like India," said Mr Ravichandran Urushothaman, Regional Vice President Asia Pacific, Danfoss.
"We are today the fastest growing drives company in India and will continue to grow our business faster than the market growth of 20 per cent", he added.
Commemorating the occasion, he said Danfoss had won one million US Dollar contract to provide HVAC drives systems to the new Indian airports in 2008.
''With the completion of a successful decade in India, Danfoss will continue to target robust growth while protecting its reputation as one of the most respected companies in the world,'' he added.
