Cong will win 230 Assembly seats in next election:CLP
Hyderabad, Aug 27 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Congress Legislature Party(CLP) today expressed confidence that the party would win 230 Assembly seats in the next elections in the State as the people had good faith in the government's welfare programmes and the party.

Dr Reddy advised all MLAs to sink small differences and work unitedly to stregthen the party.
He advised the members to attend the ongoing Assembly Session without fail to discuss various people's issues.
The incharge ministers of the district should coordinate with the District Party Presidents and take up the developmental and welfare schemes initiated by the government to the people.
PCC President D Srinivas said it was the responsibility of every member and worker of the party to take government programmes to the people as the Congress Government had taken up several welfare programmes more than those mentioned in the election manifesto during the 2004 elections.
He said the Congress would provide training to 50 workers from the booth level under Gandhi Patham to create awareness among the people about the government's programmes.
The CLP also decided to send a delegation to the Chief Election Officer for the rectification of the irregularities in the voters list.
He ridiculed the TDP moving no confidence motion against Speaker K R Suresh Reddy for suspending TDP MLA K Balaram Krishna Murty for six months for derogatory comments on the Speaker.
He said the TDP members did not know the procedures of the House and there was no rule of submitting no confidence motion against Speaker.
If any member wanted to move a motion, they should move a 'sub-stantive motion' before 14 working days of the House.
It was the responsibility of every member of the house respect the speaker as all the members including the government should obey his suggestions.

If they beheaved in this manner in future, the TDP would lose its opposition status in the House and a new party would take the position.
