Goa: Case booked against Goa Home Minister
Patna, Aug 27: A complaint case was filed in a local court on Thursday, Aug 28 by an advocate against Goa Home Minister Ravi Nayeek for making derogatory statement about Biharis. The case was filed in the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate of Patna Raghvendra Kumar Singh by a local advocate under the various sections of Indian Penal Code and for alleged violation of different Articles of the Constitution.
The court handed over the case for enquiry to the Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate of Patna.
According to the complaint, Mr Nayeek had opposed introduction of direct train from Patna to Goa saying beggars from Bihar would reach there.The news report had also appeared in a local daily.
