Bajrang Dal threatens protest against Hollywood film
Bangalore, Aug 27(UNI) Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal today threatened to stage a protest against the screening of the English cinema, 'The Love Guru,' which allegedly presented 'Hindu Religion and its leaders' in bad taste.' In a press release here,Bajrang Dal Spokesman Arun Kumar said the movie was set for release in the country shortly.
Stating Hindu religious heads, including Yogaguru Ramdev Baba and head of the Art of Living Sri Sri Ravishankar, were depicted badly in the film, he said it was an act of belittling the Hindu Religion and also its revered Gurus .
Mr Arun Kumar warned the theatre owners against screening the movie.
The Bajrang Dal leader also warned against distribution and sale of any VCDs of the film.
