21 prisoners escape from Supaul jail
Supaul, Aug 27 (UNI) Altogether 21 prisoners reportedly escaped from police custody when they were being transferred from the divisional jail here to Saharsa today.
Sources said the prisoners were being transferred from Supaul jail as it was inundated by the flood water.
Meanwhile, District Magistrate of Supaul N Shrawan Kumar said 67 prisoners were being transferred to Saharsha as the flood water had entered the jail premises.
