1.5 kg cocaine seized from 2 drug peddlers

Karnal, Aug 27 (UNI) The Haryana Police today arrested two drug peddlers and recovered one kg of cocaine, worth Rs 1.5 crore, in this district.

Amarjeet of Jind and Mahesh of Panipat were arrested from the Herbal Park between Panipat and Gharaunda while they were carrying five packets of cocaine of 200 gm each, DSP (HQ) S S Bhoria said.

A local court later remended the duo in police custody till August 31.
