Training to combat suicide squad

Indore, Aug 26 (UNI) In a bid to train Border Security Force and other police personnel about tactics to combat terrorists' suicidal squad, an 11-week training camp is underway at BSF Institute here.

A total of 160 trainees from BSF, several central police organisations and Madhya Pradesh police were receiving training in the camp at local Bijasan Road.

Training was being imparted about counter insurgency, intelligence besides weapons used by the security forces, new arms included in BSF like AK series, Insas and miner tactics.

''At present criminal elements are laced with ultra-modern warfare hence to fight with them it is necessary to gain expertise in combating against anti social elements, emergency, dacoity and new tactics used by the suicidal squad and firing,'' said BSF Institute Deputy Inspector General Ramesh Singh while inaugurating the camp.
