Train passengers looted in Bihar

Bagha, Aug 26 (UNI) Armed miscreants looted passengers of a local train near Kharpokhra station in West Champaran district, about 50 km from here,last night.

Railway police here today informed that a group of dacoits boarded 529 UP Gorakhpur bound local train and looted several passengers at gun point.

Cash and valuables worth several lakhs of rupees were robbed by the miscreants before escaping, the sources added.

While an FIR had been lodged in the Narkatiaganj GRP station, raids were on to nab the culprits.
