Situation in Valley peaceful, curfew continues for 3rd day

Srinagar, Aug 26 (UNI) The Situation in the Kashmir Valley remained peaceful and under control as curfew continued here and in other major towns for the third consecutive day today.

A police spokesman said this evening that barring protest rallies at a few places by small groups of people, the day passed off without any incident.

Small groups of people came out at Bemina Chowk in Srinagar Achabal and Dooru in Anantnag, but were dispersed.
