Nitish launches E-Service Centre 'Vasudha'
Patna, Aug 26(UNI) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today launched the E-Service Centre 'Vasudha' to enable the people in rural areas to seek updated information about the various welfare schemes, being executed by the state government.
Launching the E-Service centre at Danapur through video conferencing, Mr Kumar said it would provide information about the various welfare schemes, besides weather related data to the villagers, which would help them in their agricultral activities.
''E-Service Centre would be established in every panchayat of the state in coming days,'' Mr Kumar said and added that required fund had also been allocated for the purpose.
The Chief Minister said a large number of accounts were being opened in public sector banks for payment to girl students to purchase bicycles and school uniforms and added that the public sector should perform well otherwise the private sectors would be encouraged to step in.
