LS Panel recommends BJP MP's expulsion in trafficking case

New Delhi, Aug 26 (UNI) The Privileges Committee of the Lok Sabha, probing into the human trafficking case involving BJP MP Babubhai Katara, has decided unanimously to recommend his expulsion from Parliament, informed sources said today.

Mr Katara, who was arrested in April 2007 while attempting to smuggle out a woman and his son as family members using his diplomatic passport, was served notices to appear before the panel at least three to four times after he was released on bail on the medical grounds.
