Kate Hudson sued for stealing haircare idea

Washington, Aug 26 : Bosses of a hair care company have accused actress Kate Hudson for stealing their hair care idea.

220 Lab bosses have claimed that the 'How to lose a guy in 10 days' actress stole their idea for a secret volcano ash hair care product.

In a lawsuit, filed in Los Angeles on Friday (22Aug08) and obtained by TMZ.com, the plaintiffs claim Hudson took a sample they gave her and created her own line of products, which she even promoted on U.S. cable shopping channel HSN, reports Contactmusic.

The lawyers of 220 Labs are demanding unspecified damages.

Meanwhile, Hudson, who has recently split from Lance Armstrong, has been in news for desperately trying to rekindle romance with actor Owen Wilson.
