Beed panchayat samiti member remanded to five days custody
Beed, Maharashtra, Aug 26 (UNI) Member of Beed panchayat samiti Sarjerao Tandle, accused of firing six rounds during a meeting of the Beed Municipal Council, was remanded to five days of police custody by a local court today.
Beed police yesterday arrested Tandle, near Ashti here, in connection with an FIR lodged in Shivaji Nagar police station on August 19, for firing six rounds in the municipal council meeting, following a clash with municipal council president Bharatbhushan Kshirsagar. Rahul Tandle, another accused in the same case was also presented before the court.
The weapon has not yet been recovered.
