'Bangalore Open' suspended
Bangalore, Aug 26 (UNI) Much to the disappointment of the tennis lovers, the ATP Board has announced suspension of USD 400,000 WTA tournament scheduled to be held here from September 29.
According to sources here, the ATP Board took the decision to suspend following security concern and a request for suspension by the hosts Karnataka State Lawn Tennis Association (KSLTA).
The prize money of will now be paid into the ATP player pension fund.
