7 more arrests in Jaipur serial blasts
Jaipur, Aug 26 (UNI) Seven suspected SIMI activists, who were picked up from Kota about a week ago for interrogation in connection with May 13 serial blasts in Jaipur, have been remanded into police custody till September 7.
The seven accused Imran alias Raza, Najakat, Mehandi Hasan, Amanullah alias Aman, Dr Yunus, Taufiq and Dr Ishaq were formally arrested yesterday and were later produced before a local court.
They are charged with acts like strengthening network of banned outfit SIMI, creating social hatred and provoking people.
The arrests coincided with the arrest of Jaipur serial blasts key player Shahbaz Hussain by the Rajasthan and the Uttar Pradesh Police in Lucknow yesterday.
