Two para military jawans injured in encounter
Gaya, Aug 25 (UNI) Two jawans of Central Para Military Force (CMPF) were injured in an encounter with guerrillas of the proscribed CPI (Maoist) in Lutua village under Imamganj police station in the district today.
Police Superintendent Paresh Saxena said the CMPF jawans were injured when they had an encounter with the Maoists during the joint raid with local police near Pathlautia village.
Those injured were Mahipal Singh and R K Sahi.
They had been admitted to a local hospital.
Mr Saxena said additional reinforcement had been sent to carry out massive combing operation in area to arrest the Maoists.
