Swami Agnivesh has nothing to do with Arya Samaj: Raghav
Bhopal, Aug 25 (UNI) Madhya Bharat Arya Pratinidhi Sabha has taken strong exception to the recent statement of social activist Swami Agnivesh that the Arya Samaj had nothing to do with the Shri Amarnath Shrine Board controversy.
Sabha's head Dalveer Singh Raghav told at a press conference here that the Arya Samaj had expelled Swami Agnivesh. He said 17 out of 19 Pratinidhi Sabhas in the country were opposed to him.
Mr Raghav clarified that the Arya Samaj did not believe in idol worship but was with Hindus when their belief was attacked. Arya Samaj members had staged agitations and gone to jail whenever there had been some crisis.
He said the Arya Samaj registers its anger to the Centre and the government over revoking land allotment to the SASB.
