Solar Explosives bags coal mining rights from Chhattisgarh

New Delhi, Aug 25 (UNI) Solar Explosives Ltd today said the company has received the Letter of Award from the Government of Chhattisgarh for being selected as partner for development, mining and marketing of coal with an estimated reserve of 80 million tonnes, from Shankarpur (CG).

Under the agreement, the company will form a joint venture company with Chhattisgarh Mineral Development Corporation (CMDC) to explore, develop and operate 80 million tonnes of coal in Surguja district of the state, it said in a statement.

The coal produced will be sold commercially to the various consumers in the open market, it added.
