Singur crisis is Left Front Govt's own creation: Dasmunsi
New Delhi, Aug 25 (UNI) Minister for Information and Broadcasting and West Bengal Pradesh Congress chief Priya Ranjan Dasmunsi today blamed the Left Front Government in the state for the present crisis in Singur over the acquisition of farmers land for Tata's Nano car project.
''The problem has arisen because the state government did not ensure proper rehabilitation of the people affected by the project,'' Mr Dasmunsi told reporters here.
He said the situation that had developed in the West Bengal region was a proof of the Government failure to tackle the issue.
The minister said the state Government should open talks with stakeholders as soon as possible.
Meanhwile, a report from Kolkata said, Trinamool Congress supremo Mamata Banerjee has said she would reply soon to Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee's letter inviting her for a dialogue on the Singur issue.
Ms Banerjee launched an indefinite 'dharna' from yesterday, demanding return of 400 acres of land to the farmers.
