RBD Palmolein down, groundnutseed flat

Mumbai, Aug 25 (UNI) Prices of RBD palmolein further declined today on absence of demand, while groundnutseed remained steady on scattered buying support from stockists, traders at the Bombay Commodity Exchange said.

In oils (10 kg), Refined palmolein and rapeseed exp slightly eased by Rs two per ten kg each, due to sustained heavy selling pressure from stockists.

Sunflower exp and sunflower exp ref rose by Rs 10 and Rs 15 per ten kg respectively, on lesser stock supply by bulk consumers.

However, groundnutseed and its oil remained unaltered, traders said.

Among seeds (per quintal), Javas 60/70 and 70/80 slipped by Rs 35 and Rs 50 per quintal respectively, on sluggish demand by bulk consumers. Nigerseed also became cheaper by Rs 10 per quintal amid persistent offloading by stock holders.

In de-oiled undec, cottonseed shot up by Rs 200 per metric tonne on renewed buying support from stockists, traders added.
