PML-N takes legal advice on Zadari's eligibility and impeachment

Lahore, Aug 25 : Pakistan Muslim League-N Chief Nawaz Sharif has consulted with renowned lawyer Farooq Ahsan and other senior members of legal fraternity on the eligibility of Pakistan People's Party co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari.

Barrister Farooq Ahsan told Geo News that PML-N leaders consulted him on the issue of Zardari's refusal to implement written agreements and Swiss case.

He said Zardari's eligibility could be challenged on the issues of Swiss case and refusal to implement agreements.

Answering a question, he said PML-Q's forward bloc could continue its support for PML-N.

He held separate meetings with PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif and Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif in this regard while Sardar Zulfiqar Ali Khosa was also present on the occasion.

Chairman of Human Rights Commission Asma Jehangir has also held a meeting with Nawaz Sharif.
