Kylie's breast cancer battle spurred sis DanniI's professional success

Melbourne, Aug 25 : Aussie star Dannii Minogue has revealed that watching her sister bravely battle cancer has given her immense strength.

Minogue, who lost a close friend to breast cancer, said that being such a close witness to the disease has let her get rid of her fears, and has helped her reenergize her career.

"Experiencing cancer at close hand, from friends and family with the disease, has given me a bit more confidence to go for it," the Daily Telegraph quoted her as saying.

Minogue, who is presently judging Australia's got talent and is poised to swing on to the American Showbiz stage, believes that witnessing sister's battle breast cancer has given her the power of positive thinking to get her goals.

"It's always scared the daylights out of me before, but (work) is falling into place and there's something to be said for believing that when it all feels easy, it's when it's very right," Minogue said.
