HMDA organises prayer meeting at blast site

Hyderabad, Aug 25 (UNI) Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) today organised a condolence-cum-prayer meeting at Lumbini park, one of the twin blasts site where eight people were killed in bomb blasts on August 25 last year, marking the first anniversry of the incident in memory of the victims.

The family members of the victims and the officials along with film actor Dr Rajasekhar and his wife Jeevitha, participated in the meeting and paid tributes to the deceased by observing silence for two minutes.

Special programmes were conducted at the site to educate people about the earnest steps taken by the gvernment to prevent such incidents and the measures taken by the police to curb terrorist activities.
