G Ravindran appointed MD of SHRM

Kolkata, Aug 25 (UNI) The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) has appointed Mr G Ravindran as Managing Director (MD) of its 100 per cent subsidiary-- SHRMI.

The Society is a leading voice of the human resource profession representing the interests of professionals and students.

Speaking in a function here today, Brin J Glade, SHRM's head of international programmes, said, '' We look forward to Ravi's strategic insight and operational leadership as we expand our commitment to the Indian market and the HR profession.'' SHRMI will focus on expanding its relationship with clients, business partners and establishing partnerships with educational institutions and policy makers, Mr Glade added.
