CPSE engineering, non-engineering units exceed July targets
New Delhi, Aug 25 (UNI) The engineering and non-engineering units of the Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs) have exceeded their targets set for the month of July, official data revealed today.
While the engineering units under the Department of Heavy Industry achieved a turnover of more than Rs 1,902 crore during the month against a target of Rs 1,862.51 crore, the turnover of non-engineering units was Rs 148.97 crore against a target of Rs 140.93 crore.
However, the turnover of consultancy units was Rs 130.46 crore, about five crore less than the target.
The CPSEs that achieved or exceeded their targets were Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd , Hindustan Photo Films Mfg Co Ltd, Heavy Engineering Corporation, Hindustan Newsprint Ltd, Rajasthan Electronics and Instruments Ltd, Sambar Salts Ltd, Bharat Pumps and Compressors Ltd, Tyre Corporation of India Ltd, Bridge and Roof Co Ltd and Nepa Ltd.
