6.4 magnitude quake shakes Tibet

New Delhi, Aug 25 (UNI) A moderate intensity earthquake shook Tibet this evening, the India Meteorological Department said.

The quake which measured 6.4 on the Richter scale struck at 1852 hrs.

It was epicentred at latitude 30.9 degrees North and longitude 83.6 degrees East, according to an IMD release.
