Police assures probe after MLC reports of rape during dacoity
Beed, Maharashtra, Aug 24 (UNI) Police will investigate a dacoity on August 19 in a colony at Kathoda village in the district, during which two teenagers were allegedly raped.
Police has decided to carry out the investigation following information given today by MLC Suresh Nawle here.
Eight persons, including five women, were injured in the incident and one of the injured succumbed yesterday.
''Right now, we are unable to say anything. We will surely investigate the matter,'' Beed Superintendent of Police Dr Suhas Warke said.
