MP Cong to fight polls with full vigour
Bhopal, Aug 24 (UNI) All India Congress Committee Spokesperson Mohan Prakash today said conferences like the one held in Chhindwara recently are necessary to infuse fresh life in the party before elections.
Mr Prakash, who was here to take part in one-day training for district-level party spokespersons held yesterday, claimed that there was unity within the party. The Congress would fight the next assembly elections with full vigour.
Defending the Indo-US nuclear pact, he said the party had always met opposition, when it had taken some decision for change. ''The Left was viewing the deal with 50-year-old glasses,'' he added.
Parrying question over the Shri Amarnath Shrine Board, he said it had exposed the BJP.
