Monsoon was weak over the state

Bangalore, Aug 24 (UNI) Following is a Summary of observations recorded by weahter office here at 0830 hrs today.

Southwest monsoon was weak over the State. Rainfall occurred at isolated places over Coastal Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka. Mainly dry weather prevailed over North Interior Karnataka.

Forecast valid until Tuesday morning: Rain/thundershowers likely to occur at isolated places over Coastal Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka. Mainly dry weather may prevail over North Interior Karnataka.

Farmers Weather Bulletin:Light to moderate rain likely to occur at isolated places over all the districts of Coastal Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka.

Mainly dry weather may prevail over all the districts of North Interior Karnataka.
